May 26: I hope to have four or five pieces posted before the end of the year. We'll see how I do.
In My Life
And I'll always love you as time whispers by. Dreams come true, for me there is you. Each day that passes is magic when you're in my life.
A lifetime begins and nears an end; looking backward just to see where I have been. The decisions that I made, things I'd change but never trade, facing life so unafraid with you.
Endless journeys each day start anew with the rising sun. Morning fog, but there's hope shining through. All that I need is to be with you
And I'll always love you as time whispers by. Dreams come true, for me there is you. Each day that passes is magic when you're in my life.
Many thanks to:

Leaving
Two friends; will I see them again? They are off adventuring, running out or running in? I'll miss them but truth be told, I rarely see them now. And what america is this that forces out the geniuses; the literate and polyglots, and leaves us with the brains-have-nots? The shame ... to watch our greatness leave. Salir. Shalom. Good-bye. -- Does distance really matter? Does time and space keep us apart or is it we who do? Though they are leaving, they cannot for they exist as part of me and I exist right here. Fantastic dreams once realized will make the world a better place to be. As you set off to lift yours up, te digo adios a ti and wish you peace and send you off with love.

Two Stones
He had two stones to bear. they weighed him, weighed him. He wore them well for many years, he protected them and polished them and tried to get them to sit on the table. But they were old, they always rolled, first one then the other then both. One then the other then one day no longer does he have those stones. Still, they weighed him, weighed him. He keeps trying to protect and he does not lie, and wishes that he did not. But some things are stronger than storms, or the water that will not keep the stones from plummeting down and shattering the glass, or the ocean, or his heart.
